Site Survival Kits for Mining Technicians Group Australia (MTGA) & Racket Agency
MTGA were looking for a range of products/items to put together into a gift pack for their clients, using the concept of a ‘Site Survival Kit’. They had a few examples of what other companies had done, their brand guidelines, and an idea on how many packs they were after – from there we provided around 30 different item suggestions (based around the brief/concept of tradies, construction/mining sites, rugged, purpose built, on brand) – that could all be fit into a branded cooler bag. We also provided a bespoke printed wrap to go around the bag and stickers to attached it together to elevate the gifting experience for the clients. We narrowed down the product list, provided artwork templates – and even refined the items further based on the print method we wanted to use (eg. The initial suggested keyring was only available with laser engraving, but the client wanted a full colour print so we found an alternative supplier with the same style product that offered this printing method, at a similar price). We worked closely with the team at Racket Agency to set up the artwork to their brand guidelines, then arrange for each of the items to be delivered directly to MTGA, where they were assembled into the kits. Each product had a different turnaround – which we communicated back to the client and updated them as each item was delivered. When there were freight delays we stayed in touch and ensured everything was delivered and received. We heard some feedback later that the client was wrapped with them, and that they had their own clients saying ‘I’ll place another order if you send us more of those site survival kits’. It’s an example of how we service from end to end, starting with a vague idea/concept – through to a fully made gift pack with packaging that is helping clients win more work for their own business. It’s also an example of how we worked hand in hand with another business/agency – and were able to offer a premium level of service that reflected on their business as well.
